چکیده
In this paper, a new continuum traffic model is developed considering the backward-looking effect through positive backward equilibrium speed function. As compared with conventional full velocity difference model, function, which largely acceptably grounded from mathematical and physical perspectives, plays an important role in significantly enhancing stability of flow field. A linear condition derived to demonstrate neutralization capacity whereas Korteweg–de Vries–Burgers equation attendant analytical solution are deduced using nonlinear analysis observe behavior near neutral condition. numerical simulation, used determine enhancement efficiency also conducted verify theoretical results.

Decisions are powerfully affected by anticipated regret, and people anticipate feeling more regret when they lose by a narrow margin than when they lose by a wide margin. But research suggests that people are remarkably good at avoiding self-blame, and hence they may be better at avoiding regret than they realize. Four studies measured people’s anticipations and experiences of regret and self-b...

Looking Backward and Forward at the Internet
This article reviews accounts of the origins and growth of the global Internet with an interest in their implications for the future. Many accounts take overly restricted views of technical development. For instance, the Internet is often seen as simply the outgrowth of US Defense Department work and popular enthusiasm. Recent interdisciplinary studies of technology present a more complex pictu...
